PRESENTE: inside the migrant trail walk
PRESENTE: inside the migrant trail walk uses artistic video imagery accompanied by a compelling musical score from renowned Puerto Rican folk artist, José "Pepo" Saavedra, to convey a reflective look into the Migrant Trail Walk of 2005. The 7 day/75 mile walk from Sásabe, Sonora, Mexico to Tucson, Arizona, USA that raised awareness about the deadly journey to the U.S., the tragic cost of border militarization, and also an opportunity to walk in solidarity with migrants.

Included on the DVD in the special features section are recording sessions with José "Pepo" Saavedra and the short film The Migrant Trail about the walk in 2004, when 234 deaths of migrants crossing the Arizona/Mexico Border were recorded. This ongoing tragedy prompted over 200 people to walk 75 miles in the summer sun from the Mexican Border to Tucson, AZ, in order to raise awareness and learn more about the risks and struggles that migrants endure to work in America. It's a walk that became an experience to remember.
